Now in its 14th consecutive year, Fight Night takes place at the luxurious Park Lane Hilton Hotel in London. Billed as the ‘Hurricane in the Hilton’ this year’s live boxing is military themed and will showcase top quality Military Boxing courtesy of the UK Armed Forces Boxing Association. Special speaker on the night will be Falkland war hero and British Army veteran Simon Weston.
Hosted by Frank Warren and Box Nation, DEBRA’s Fight Night is a glamorous black-tie event, attended by some of the nation’s favourite sports and TV stars. Guests will be treated to a sparkling drinks reception, three course dinner with wine and a charity auction with fabulous prizes donated by many generous sponsors including Sunseeker. Sunseeker are proud to be long standing supporters of DEBRA and for the 2018 Fight Night event we have donated four factory tour tickets that will be put forward towards the silent auction. 100% of the proceeds from the night will #FightEB and could help fund specialist EB nurses providing life changing care across the country.

I’ve hosted the annual DEBRA Fight Night for the past 14 years to support the charity’s fundraising. I got involved with DEBRA after meeting a wonderful young man called Jonny Kennedy, who had EB. I wanted to commemorate his life and raise funds to help suffers of this terrible skin condition. We are putting on a high adrenaline night of first-class military boxing which will feature exciting boxing bouts showcasing the skills and experience of our amazing Armed Forces boxers. I am asking the public to come out and help us raise funds for DEBRA and enjoy a great night of boxing.”
Simon Weston, Falkland War hero and British Army Veteran, says: “I am looking forward to attending DEBRA Fight Night, speaking to the guests, and seeing our Armed Forces boxers in action. Military boxing is entertaining, and our Armed Forces boxers are skilled and train hard. Our Army, Navy and Airforce boxers will go head to head for a great cause. Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a terrible skin condition. I understand something of the pain and suffering that people with EB endure every day. After I suffered 46% burns on my body when I was injured during the Falkland War in 1982 I had to overcome my injuries and undergo over 70 operations.
