The race is now in its 14th year and attracts participants from all over the world to race classic and race category cars over 500 Kilometers of Mallorca’s beautiful mountain roads. The race is now one of the most known races in Europe and includes some of the most exclusive cars in the world, valued at millions of euros.
Sunseeker Mallorca are proud to support one of last years winners, Nick Whale! Racing in an original 1989 BMW M3, Nick once again hopes to add another win in his class to his list of achievements including; the 24 Hour race, the Uniroyal British Production Saloon Championship and the first ever MSA British Historic Rally Champion.
As Managing Director of Silverstone Auctions, Nick has been heavily involved in the Motorsport industry throughout his entire life. He began his racing career at the age of 17, competing in hill climbs and sprints in a Mallock U2, before moving into the heavily competitive saloon track racing in 1986 and then historic rallying in 1999.
Since then he has raced historic saloons, GT’s and Can-Am sportscars all over Europe. Nick now races his original ex BTCC BMW M3 with his son Harry and occasionally still features in historic rallying.
The rally got off to a flying start last night with Nick placing in podium positions so far. Keep an eye out for race updates coming soon! Sunseeker Mallorca and the rest of the Sunseeker London Group, wish Nick the best of luck this weekend.
