Last night saw the season finale of BBC’s Top Gear which showcased a Sunseeker Hawk 27 hull on a hybrid vessel, and the stunning 86 Yacht ‘COLUMBUS’. Filmed over Christmas and New Year, the Sunseeker London Group team were delighted to be able to work with the BBC to create this beautifully shot film.
After purchasing a Sunseeker Hawk 27 hull from James Lumley at Sunseeker Southampton, the producers took the much maligned SsangYong Rodius and morphed it into a unique vessel.
In the hilarious film Eddie Jordan takes control of the stunning 86 Yacht ‘COLUMBUS’ and pits her against the “Ssang Yacht” in the beautiful Monaco setting, and then reviews the boat in Boat International.
If you would like to watch the programme, it will be re-aired on Friday 28th April at 12:05am or alternatively it will be available for one month on the BBC iPlayer. If you reside outside of the UK, it will be shown over the coming months throughout the BBC Worldwide network.
