JAMES BROOKE ACADEMY: Brand new Sunseeker 86 Yacht and Manhattan 52 to become flagship Academy training boats.

We’re delighted to announce that in 2017 the James Brooke Academy will be taking delivery of a stunning new Sunseeker Manhattan 52 and a luxurious new Sunseeker 86 Yacht enabling clients to learn how to manoeuvre and handle the very latest in Sunseeker’s design and technology.

Based on the UK’s south coast in Lymington Yacht Haven, 2016 Marina Award Winner, the James Brooke Academy offers a unique style of training for prospective owners to experience the quality of craftsmanship and performance of these exceptional boats whilst learning about navigation, seamanship and boat handling.

With over twenty years of experience as a Yachtmaster Instructor, former Royal Marine and RNLI Lifeboat crewman, James Brooke launched the Academy in partnership with the Sunseeker London Group to provide support for new owners and to give customers an opportunity to experience training of the highest quality before making a purchase.

James Brooke comments “Boating has been a passion all my life, and I feel privileged to be working with the Sunseeker London Group to provide a range of training packages for customers, from the fine art of boat handling in marinas to passage planning and offshore navigation. Based on the Solent we have a perfect location to learn about tides, harbour approaches and how to find a nice anchorage for lunch!”

Courses lead to MCA/RYA qualifications and include the ICC (International Certificate of Competence). For more information please visit www.jamesbrookeacademy.com.
