After the success of last years cycle in memory of Gerry Couch, Islandbridge Capital teamed up with Sunseeker London to host this years Couch Classic. The target was to raise over £60,000 through 35 cyclists taking part in a charity cycle in Mallorca.

The Couch Classic cycle took place over three days, 14th-16th October 2016, and covered over 150 miles of the island. On Saturday, the cyclists journeyed from Palma Marina to the top of ‘The Orient’ at a height of over 1800ft. The cycle then finished on Sunday at the brand new Sunseeker Mallorca office in Port Adriano with drinks before heading to the exclusive Sansibar restaurant for a well deserved lunch.
The 35 cyclists, including Sunseeker London Group Managing Director David Lewis and Group Sales Director Christopher Head, took part in this testing cycle over hilly terrain and raised an outstanding £60,000 so far. The money raised will go towards helping young people battling cancer through Teens Unite Fighting Cancer, Registered Charity Number: 1118361.

Teens Unite Fighting Cancer is dedicated to improving the lives of young people aged 13-24, with cancer and other life limiting illnesses. Teens Unite’s main aim is to get teens together as often as possible in a fun-filled environment; giving them the chance to talk to each other and gain strength from realising that they are not alone in their battle.
There is still time to support Managing Director David Lewis or Sales Director Christopher Head so please find links to their JustGiving pages below.
