She has an impressive custom specification including Sleipner fin stabilisers, hydraulic thrusters, a comprehensive Bose AV system with satellite TV, flybridge hardtop and a stabilised Flir thermal imaging camera for additional safety when cruising in twighlight hours.
‘HARD 8’ has accommodation for 8 guests in 4 cabins plus 2 crew in her sumptuously appointed black American walnut themed interior.
With concerns over a Yacht of this size being too large for typical UK marina facilities, much research was carried out prior to order. However, having secured a flagship berth at Lymington Yacht Haven, she has already logged more than 65 hours exploring The Solent waters including Yarmouth, Portsmouth Harbour, The Hamble River, Ocean Village and Cowes. Plans are already underway to explore further a-field in the coming weeks, including the West Country and Channel Islands.
As the owner’s first Yacht we have worked closely alongside our partners at the Lymington-based James Brooke Academy to provide confidence-building RYA training courses both pre and post delivery.
‘HARD 8’ is also MCA coded for 10 guests and available for unique charter experiences here in the UK including helicopter transfer and fine dining cuisine.
