This week Sunseeker London introduces some top addresses to Eat, Sleep & Drink in the UK’s capital and its neighbouring county Berkshire.
EAT: Corrigan’s Restaurant, 28 Upper Grosvenor Street, London, W1K 7EH
Home of acclaimed Irish chef, Richard Corrigan, Corrigan’s Restaurant in Mayfair redefines the concept of quintessential British and Irish cuisine fusing seasonal produce with unmistakable flair.
The menus are inspired by Richard’s humble, rural upbringing – combining 21st century luxury and style with down-to-earth, home-inspired cooking. Corrigan’s can also offer four private spaces available for lunch, dinner or indeed at any other time for spaces of up to 25 guests.
Richard Corrigan’s passion for seasonal food is matched only by his enthusiasm for ingredients. Specialties such as Farmhouse terrine, Cornish crab salads and braised lamb shoulder, duck leg, smoked bacon with white beans can be seen on the Corrigan’s menu.
Every Monday at Corrigan’s, guests are welcomed to bring their own bottle. Enjoy your own wine with food created by a chef that understands how a wine can be improved when matched with equally high quality food.
DRINK: The Colony Club, 24 Hertford St, London, W1J 7SA
The Colony Club’s contemporary cosmopolitan bar sparkles in its glamorous Park Lane setting and offers a rare fusion of elegance, ambience, style and luxury. Located on Hertford Street, in the middle of London’s Golden Triangle it is ideally located within easy reach of many of London’s top attractions and finest hotels.
Open from 6pm until 3am Sunday to Wednesday and until 4am Thursday to Saturday, the bar boasts a mouth-watering cocktail menu, created by Riccardo Andreotti (previously at Corrigan’s and Galvin) and his talented team.
Signature cocktails take their influence from the four seasons; spring, summer, autumn and winter and are updated regularly. One of our favourite signatures is the Raspberry & Tarragon Spritz a delicious blend of raspberry infused vodka, fresh tarragon, raspberries, homemade raspberry jam and Champagne.
Resident DJs play every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights until 4am and live bands play each Wednesday and Sunday alternating between Jazz and Motown.

SLEEP: Coworth Park, Blacknest Rd, Ascot, SL5 7SE
The Dorchester Collection’s country retreat, Coworth Park, is a 45 minute drive from our Sunseeker London offices, located near to Ascot and bordering on Windsor Great Park, this country house hotel is ideal for that night away from the buzz of the city.
The estate includes an award-winning eco-luxury spa with indoor pool and three restaurants including The Spatisserie, brasserie-style food in The Barn and elegant dining at Restaurant Coworth Park. It is the only UK hotel to feature its own polo fields, which are managed by Guards Polo Club, offering a full programme of polo tournaments throughout the season and polo lessons catering to all levels.
Of the total 70 guest bedrooms, 30 suites and rooms are located in the Mansion House, each with extensive views through high Georgian windows across gardens, parkland and the meadow. No two rooms are alike and furnishings and furniture are entirely bespoke and contemporary.
There are a further 40 suites and bedrooms, including some duplexes in the converted stables and cottages, just a short walk from the Mansion House. Named after Derby winners, the rooms have a more equestrian feel, matching the stables’ former use and their agricultural architecture.
During your stay at Coworth Park, guests can enjoy various activities ranging from horse riding, mountain biking, tennis and golf with the neighbouring Wentworth Club allowing guests to play the three 18-hole championship golf courses. On top of this Race-goers can enjoy a day’s racing at Royal Ascot in June!
