Designed and built in collaboration with legend Steve Curtis and the team at Cougar Marine, the R12 Viper “ARGENTUM” has a dual purpose in mind – to decimate the competition at offshore marathon endurance racing and yet be capable of giving the ultimate thrill ride for the owner and friends in a leisure setup. Construction wise, she features a twin step 24 degree deadrise Deep V monohull with tapered Hypalon tubes and a wraparound acrylic F16 style windscreen with removable roof/canopy system (complies with latest marathon race regulations). Her twin staggered Ilmor V10 – 725HP Petrol inboards are coupled to Ilmor Indy drives which incorporate hydraulic steering and trim rams. She also features a CMI stainless steel tubular water jacketed exhaust system with thru-transom exhaust tips and Rolla surface piercing propellers. “ARGENTUM” can reach top speeds in excess of 100mph with sustained cruise at around 75mph when conditions allow.
The cockpit houses 4 bucket style suspension seats, onboard air supply, external bench seating for 3 additional passengers, electric hatch rams, port and starboard helm positions (removable wheel) to allow for separate throttleman operation / owner-driver use, triple Raymarine plotters, radar, DSC VHF, screen washers, forward and rear facing camera system, full Livorsi engine instrumentation, underwater lighting, heavy duty K-plane trim tabs with indicators, Perma-teak decking, custom lifting points and much more.

A recent arrival at the Sunseeker Southampton office, this Hunton XRS 37 is a beautiful example of a bespoke and truly rare high performance sports cruiser. Still in her original ownership from new, “G-WIZ” was built to the owners’ specification with twin high performance Mercruiser 496 MAG HO 425hp V8 petrol engines, complimented by Imco external ram hydraulic steering. Her impressive top speed of close to 60 knots boasts a V8 soundtrack to match…!

It’s quite a rare sight to see one of these beautiful Italian sports cruisers here in the UK and this Baia FLASH 48 is a great example. This 2 cabin (+ 1 crew) performance boat is fitted with twin 480hp Volvo diesels coupled to Arneson surface drives. In turn-key condition thanks to a full engine service in Summer 2013, “BLUE NILE” is ready to go. The OE spec has been upgraded in recent years to include a new Raymarine C120 multifunction chart plotter, Mastervolt battery charger and stern thruster. Arneson Industries are world-renowned for building the best surface drives on the market and as such, maintenance costs are reasonable and parts availability is good. These propulsion units allow the high performance propellers to run at the water’s surface when travelling on the plane for greater efficiency and a higher top speed.
