Sunseeker opens two new permanent display areas in the South of France

Boat Shows remain one of the very best ways of connecting with the Sunseeker brand, particularly if you like to see new yacht models ahead of the coming season. If you are one of those who can not always get to the big events, or if you fancy something a little quieter and a little more private, then we have the solution.

Earlier this year, Sunseeker France trialled the idea of a permanent display in the South of France, away from the bright lights and busy aisles of the major boat shows. Amongst other things, it played host to the brand new Portofino 40 after her launch at the Cannes Boat Show last year, and the award-winning Manhattan 63. So this year, we’ve gone one better. We now have two permanent displays in the South of France, which kicked off last weekend with the arrival of the superb new Sunseeker Manhattan 55 following her appearance at three (yes three!) major boat shows in the autumn. Just moments away from the private airfield in Cannes and 25 minutes from Nice airport, Port de la Rague nestles in the corner of the Bay of Cannes. Known for the impressive viaduct that traverses the port, Sunseeker have a permanent display area ashore in the shipyard, right next to the main entrance, where a purpose-built walkway allows easy access to the boats on show.

Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône features some of the newest and best storage facilities in the South of France. It is just 30 minutes from the airport, and is set the head of one of the most famous ports in the Mediterranean – Marseille. The Sunseeker Display Area is in a heated hangar in the heart of the marina, where the boats are kept in showroom condition.

Commenting during the Sunseeker Manhattan 55 Open Day last weekend, Sales Broker Alastair Walton of Sunseeker France explained; “permanent display areas here in the South of France really give clients the opportunity to get to know their preferred models, as they make their choices ahead of the coming season. Two boats were sold from the trial display we had in the spring, so we are delighted to have been able to extend the concept with the recent arrival of some of Sunseeker’s hottest new models”.

To arrange your own private viewing of the boats on show at either destination, please contact your nearest Sunseeker France Group office today. The team looks forward to meeting you!
